Top 5 Pixi Skincare Products (that actually work)

Updated: Oct 21, 2019

I have loved Pixi Beauty for years. They have so many beautiful products on offer from skincare to makeup. But, with so much choice which exactly are the best skincare products they have to offer? I thought I'd share with you my top 5 favourites from Pixi Beauty skincare that make a visible difference to my acne-prone, dehydrated skin.

Probably Pixi's most famous product. Glow Tonic has a cult following and for good reason. It's essentially a liquid exfoliator that can be used daily. It's formulated with glycolic acid to gently exfoliate, aloe vera to soothe and hydrate plus ginseng to improve circulation. It immediately leaves skin feeling refreshed, calmed and clean and over time with a beautiful luminosity.

Rose Caviar Essence is virtually weightless! It's one of the most refreshing hydrating serums I've ever come across. The formula includes concentrated flower oils which literally melt into the skin leaving behind skin that is soft and fresh with no residue.

If you want to give your skin a quick hydration boost this is the product. When my skin feels particularly dry I like to give it a drink! The sheet mask is soaked in a serum containing glycolic acid which brightens. Whilst herbal extracts help to improve and maintain skin health, promoting more luminous skin. After 10-15 minutes this reveals ultra plumped and glowing skin. I usually find that any dry patches have totally disappeared. My favourite time to use this is before applying makeup for a special occasion - it preps the skin perfectly so you have the best base to work on. At just over £3 per treatment they really are a bargain.

This product wasn't an instant love. It was one of those I had to go back to a few times before I decided that it was for me. Now, I use the Rose Ceramide each night (tip for oilier complexions) after applying the Rose Caviar. It has a ultra thick, rich and hydrating texture. It features rose oils and ceremide to nourish skin. Ceremides are essentially lipids (fatty acid) which help the skin form a barrier and retain moisture to release over time. As you can see from the picture mine is well loved!

This is a fairly new product that has entered my regime and it won't be leaving any time soon. Peel & Polish is essentially an exfoliator that is powerful yet gentle on the skin. It's one of the only exfoliators I've tried that you can actively feel working. It is formulated with latic acid which is a mild peeler that removes the top layer of the skin (you won't notice). Latic acid is also the perfect choice for those with sensitive skin as it's kinder than glycolic acid. After just a handful of uses there's a noticeable difference to a patch of hormonal cystic acne and scarring on my cheek. Although, you really can appreciate a more radiant appearance after just one use!
