When news broke on Instagram that American cult drug-store brand Wet N Wild were crossing the pond to the UK we were all shook! Thanks to our favourites Beauty Bay for finally introducing them to the UK we now get to try this brand easily for ourselves.
One of the most wanted products on launch was the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation. Although this comes in 22 shades in the USA unfortunately, Beauty Bay only had an initial 6 shades. I do believe they are expanding the shade range. This foundation did sell-out on its release so I have everything crossed that when this is restocked we will see a more full, inclusive range available. .
I bought this foundation on launch day along with a few other products. I've been testing it out over the last week or so and am now ready to share my thoughts!

I went for the shade Soft Ivory which is described as light, warm. I am an NC15 or 0W (fair, warm) skin tone and this is a great match for me.

The foundation gives a light to medium coverage, which is easily buildable. It does dry down fast however so my top tip would be to blend quickly! It has a true matte finish, feels comfortable and lightweight on the skin. It does wear nicely throughout the day, but if your oily like me you may require the odd retouch. If you have a dry skin type you may find that it enhances any dry spots on the skin. I do think if you wanted to skip powder you easily could as this foundation sets itself. I did a photo test and it definitely lives up to it's claim. There is no 'flash-back' so selfies will be flawless.

Overall, I think for the price this is a really great foundation. If you love a matte finish that is very comfortable then you'll absolutely love it.
