I am super excited that I have succeeded in getting my hands on the new and upcoming Benefit Cosmetics Gold Rush Blush. We have been expecting this since the end of 2017 after I posted a sneak peek to my Instagram account. I even featured this in my blog post at the beginning of 2018 which you can see HERE.
Every spring Benefit treats us to a new 'box-o-powder' whether it be blush, highlighter or bronzer. This spring we have a new blush to play with.
There has been no fanfare as yet from Benefit for the new Gold Rush Blush. I think they have been concentrating so much on their BagGal Bang Mascara launch it's been overlooked. There is still time though between now and the product's launch to make up for it!
So, how does this new addition compare to our existing favourite blushes from Benefit? Let's find out.

Benefit Cosmetics Gold Rush Blush Review
The packaging of Gold Rush is decorated in pink and gold hues. The logo gives me a Mid-West, Texan vibe. The blush box is embossed with highly reflective gold on the inside. In traditional Benefit 'box-o-powder' style it comes complete with mirror and brush. The box also has a nice sturdy magnetic close.
The blush itself has a foiled golden overspray. The powder is super smooth and creamy. It blends very easily into the complexion leaving a warm, neutral peachy flush. The blush itself has a pearly finish. I would say that once it's blended out it does have an almost matte finish. The blush has a lovely unique, sweet scent - it's really difficult to describe! The best I do is that its a warm peach scent mixed in with a little bit of baby powder!!
Benefit Cosmetics Gold Rush Blush Comparison Swatches
Compared to the existing Benefit blushes I feel Gold Rush is most similar to Rockateur. Rockateur is a stunning rose gold blush and Gold Rush is just slightly softer and peachy. As for the formula, it is the same one that we know and love which is a super high-quality, silky powder.

I managed to grab this stunner early from QVC Beauty which has now unfortunately sold out. Don't worry though the Benefit Cosmetics Gold Rush Blush officially launches in the UK in late March 2018 for £25.50.
UPDATE 14/03/18: The Gold Rush has landed exclusively HERE and can be yours right now.
