If you're an OG fan you'll know that MAC Cosmetics Whisper Of Gilt has absolute CULT status amoungst devotees.
For those of you who aren't familiar, MAC Cosmetics Whisper of Gilt (or WOG) is a highlighter shade in their Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula. MAC first debuted W0G in the MAC In Extra Dimension Collection for Spring 2012 and Glamour Daze Collection for Holiday 2012. The shade was quite revolutionary and treasured by fans. We then had to wait until 2016 till it was reintroduced for the MAC Nutcracker Collection for Holiday 2016 - which many of you will most likely remember. More recently, of course, it made an appearance in the Limited Edition MAC Snow Ball Collection for Holiday 2017 and it quickly flew off the shelves.

The only piece of MACs permanent collection that has been able to substitute WOG in the meantime has been their Extra Dimension Skinfinish in 'Oh Darling'. This shade has been dubbed as a near perfect dupe for the illusive WOG.
However, I have fantastic news! We will no longer need to have a substitute for WOG as it's finally coming back, for good. That's right MAC Cosmetics are making the highly sought after Whisper Of Gilt part of their permanent collection.
In my opinion WOG really is one of the most beautiful soft gold, highly metallic highlighters there is.
