We have just witnessed one of Benefit's biggest ever product launches. We now know that the #outofthisworld makeup product is the new Badgal Bang Mascara. According to Benefit, this mascara has been 4 years in the making and they produced no less than 75 wands until they found the perfect one!
The Benefit Badgal Bang mascara has many claims and I am really eager to give this a go. I'm so happy I managed to snap this up early so I have all the details to share with you today. Let's find out if this really is out of this world or if it should be banished to a black hole...

Benefit BADgal Bang Mascara Review:
On first impressions the mascara wand is much taller than others I have used and is extremely flexible. I think its flexibility is so it can easily coat lashes at every angle. The wand is also made entirely of plastic with very short bristles.
The shade certainly is pitch black and I really love the deep, dark shade. I feel like the mascara formula is very thin. This may be down to the aero-particle technology which makes it very lightweight.
I have fairly straight lashes and I just feel like it doesn't lift and curl my lashes as well as other mascaras. This is something that is a priority for me when choosing a mascara. I do feel that it gives volume and some thickening, but really did lack the lift for my lashes. This mascara looks beautiful on the bottom lashes and makes them look long, voluminous and fluttery.
I tested how waterproof the formula is and it definitely lives up to those claims.

I'm going to keep this honest. I really wanted to love this mascara especially after seeing it work so great for others and all the hype. For me, as I don't feel I get dramatically lifted, more curled lashes it's really a deal breaker. However, it's not all bad. The pros certainly do outweigh the cons by miles.
Pros:

Con:
X Lack of lift and curl for straighter lashes.
